Steve Dolder joined in mid 1983 before Conti joined in late 1984 Prefab Sprout are broadly equal to the singer and songwriter Paddy McAloon from Witton Gilbert, County Durham. With the 80er releases as Swoon, Steve McQueen and From Langley Park To Memphis Prefab Sprout has long distinguished itself as a stylish provider of elegant, British pop music. Prefab Sprout are an English pop group, formed in the late 70's and still releasing music today, more or less - some thirty years later.
